| Description: |
Agency law brings together the duties, rights, and liabilities of three people involved in real estate transactions: the principal, the agent, and the third party with whom the agent deals. In this course, we focus on agency relationships that these people must recognize and use. You will learn about acceptable agency practices, such as supervisory obligations and fiduciary duties. You will also be able to identify the proper management of required disclosures and trust accounts. Real estate agents need to identify violations of agency laws to be able to avoid potential liability and to serve their clients appropriately. |
